Adding & Creating
Design a create flow for one concrete product task: adding a new item, record, or piece of content into an existing system. Pick a specific use case and design the full path from the entry point to confirmation. This should feel like a real product flow, not a generic form.
Show how the flow begins, what fields or choices are required, and how the user moves through the steps. If the task needs multiple stages, make the progression clear. If it can be done in one screen, keep the structure tight and focused. The interface should make it obvious what’s required, what’s optional, and what happens next.
Include the states that matter in a creation flow: idle, active input, validation error, saving, and success. Errors should stay close to the relevant field or step. Success should confirm the item was created and point to the next useful action, such as view, edit, add another, or continue.
