Design the flow for saving an item into a collection inside a content-heavy product. The user should be able to start from an item card, open a save control, pick an existing collection or create a new one, and confirm the destination without leaving the current context. Make the sequence feel fast, but do not skip the decision point. Show the item state before and after saving. The picker should make the current selection clear, support searching or scrolling through collections if needed, and show what happens when the user saves to more than one collection. If you include a create-new-collection path, keep it in the same flow so the user does not lose the item they were saving. Design the post-save feedback as a real state, not just a toast. The user should see that the item was saved, where it went, and what they can do next, such as undo, move, or save another item. Include failure handling that preserves the chosen destination and offers retry without restarting the flow.
