Goal & Task
Design a dashboard screen that helps someone work toward one chosen goal by turning it into a small set of tasks. Show the goal name, a short summary, and a visible progress indicator at the top. Beneath that, list the tasks needed to move the goal forward, with each task showing status, priority, and the next action.
Make the first task feel like the obvious place to begin. Use one primary CTA for the current step, and keep secondary actions quiet. If the goal is paused, complete, or not yet set, the screen should change state and explain what to do next instead of leaving the user at a dead end.
Treat this as a planning-and-execution screen, not a generic dashboard. The user should be able to glance at the page, understand what they are trying to achieve, see what is already done, and know exactly what to do next.
What to deliver
- Design a goal overview panel with the current objective, progress, and deadline.
- Add a task list with clear status, priority, and next action for each item.
- Show one primary CTA to start or continue the next task.
- Include an empty state for no active goal and a completed state with next steps.
