Branding

Create a compact brand system for a fictional company or product, then apply it to a realistic mockup. Start with the core identity: logo treatment, color palette, type choices, and image style. Keep the system small enough to feel intentional, not like a full identity manual.

Show the brand in context on one main surface, such as a landing page hero, app onboarding screen, product card, or packaging front. Use real copy and content hierarchy so the brand is judged in use, not just as a swatch board. The layout should make the brand tone obvious within a few seconds: calm, premium, playful, technical, or bold.

Add one or two supporting applications that prove the system holds up across formats. This could be a social post, business card, email header, or secondary product surface. Keep spacing, logo placement, and color usage consistent so the rules are easy to read and repeat.

What to deliver

  • Design a brand board with logo, color palette, type scale, and imagery direction.
  • Apply the brand to one primary screen or surface with real content.
  • Show at least one supporting asset or variant, such as social post, card, or packaging.
  • Define simple usage rules for spacing, contrast, and logo placement.

Infusing a bit of the brand's history or story into your design can offer a depth of authenticity that resonates with users and sets the brand apart.
