Add & Create
Design one focused add/create flow for a single product surface. Pick a specific context, such as adding a task in a project tool, creating a post in a social app, or adding an item to a workspace. The screen should make the entry point obvious and show what happens immediately after the user starts.
Show the full path from empty or initial state to created result. Include the trigger, the input state, any preview or confirmation step, and the final inserted item. If the flow supports more than one way to add content, keep the rules consistent across those paths.
Use feedback to reduce doubt while the user is creating: show what has been added, what is still editable, and when the action is complete. The result should feel like part of the product, not a generic modal pasted on top.
What to deliver
- Design the main creation screen with a clear entry point to add new content.
- Show the add flow from trigger to completed item in 2–4 steps.
- Include at least one alternate input path, such as drag-and-drop, menu action, or inline add.
- Design empty, in-progress, and success states for the flow.
- Show how the new item appears in context after creation.
