Fitness Equipment Screen
Design a single-screen control panel for a connected fitness machine. Treat it like the user’s workout cockpit: one place to start a session, adjust resistance or intensity, and monitor what the machine is doing right now.
Show the active workout state clearly at the top: machine name, current mode, elapsed time, and the most important live stat for that device. The main control area should be built around the primary adjustment for the equipment — for example resistance, speed, incline, or load — with a large, direct control and visible current value.
Add a small set of preset workouts or training modes that can be launched quickly without leaving the screen. Keep secondary options tucked away so they do not compete with the live controls. If the machine supports it, include feedback for each adjustment so the user can tell the command was accepted.
Place pause, stop, and safety actions where they are always easy to find. The screen should feel usable mid-workout, with clear hierarchy, readable numbers, and no ambiguity about what is active versus what can be changed next.
What to deliver
- Design the main equipment control screen.
- Show current machine status, active workout, and live metrics.
- Add direct controls for resistance, speed, incline, or weight.
- Include preset workout shortcuts and quick-start actions.
- Show pause, stop, and safety controls with clear priority.
Incorporate motivational elements, like progress bars or achievement notifications, to foster user engagement and provide a rewarding experience.
