Terms & Privacy Page
Design a Terms & Privacy page for a web app where legal copy is long, dense, and occasionally updated. The page should feel like a real product surface, not a document dump: one clear title, a short summary of what changed, and separate sections for Terms, Privacy, cookies, and account/data handling.
Use a sticky table of contents on desktop so users can jump to major sections without scrolling blindly. Each section should have a strong heading, anchor link, and readable body copy with enough line length and spacing to avoid fatigue. If you include collapsible sections, make sure the collapsed label still tells users exactly what is inside.
Add utility actions that fit the task: search within the page, copy a section link, and print/download the policy. Show how the page behaves on mobile, where the table of contents becomes a compact jump menu and the content stacks into a single readable column. Include a simple update note or version history so users can see when the policy last changed.
What to deliver
- Design a legal document page with clear Terms and Privacy sections
- Add a sticky table of contents for long-form navigation
- Make section headings, subheads, and links scannable
- Include states for search, collapsed sections, and anchor jumps
- Show print-friendly and mobile layouts
Break down text-heavy content with bullet points, diagrams, or illustrations to boost comprehension and engagement.
