Section message
Design a section message component for a product page or dashboard panel. It should introduce the section, explain why it matters, and point to the next step. Think of the message as the first thing a user reads before they scan the rest of the section.
Use a clear hierarchy: short title, one or two lines of supporting copy, and a primary action when needed. The layout should work inside a card, column, or full-width section without feeling oversized. Keep the content specific enough to guide action, not just decorate the page.
Show how the message handles different contexts: an informative section, a section that needs a click, and a section with no action available. Make the visual treatment feel intentional through type scale, contrast, spacing, and any supporting icon or illustration.
The final design should read cleanly at a glance, anchor the section, and leave no doubt about what the user should do next.
What to deliver
- Design a section-level message block with headline, supporting copy, and primary action
- Show one visual treatment that fits the section’s purpose, not generic decoration
- Define spacing and alignment so the message reads as the focal point
- Include a secondary state for when the section has no action to take
- Make the component work in a real layout, not as a standalone poster
Use persuasive language and design elements that resonate with the target audience to create a connection and encourage interaction.
