Consent Form Screen
Design a mobile onboarding screen that asks for consent before account creation. The main content is a scrollable block of terms or policy text, with the acceptance control kept visible and clear.
Treat this as a decision point, not a reading exercise. The screen needs to support a long document without losing the user’s place or hiding the action they need to take next.
The consent control should feel tied to the text, not floating separately. Users should understand what they are agreeing to, then confirm it with a single tap.
Make the layout work on a phone in portrait, with enough room for safe-area insets, keyboard avoidance if needed, and long localized copy without breaking the flow.
What to deliver
- Design the full consent screen in its default state.
- Design the scrollable terms area with visible scroll affordance.
- Design the checkbox and agree button states, including disabled and enabled.
- Design the screen with long text and short text variants.
- Design the confirmation state after the user agrees.
Keep the agree control disabled until the required checkbox is checked, and make the relationship between the checkbox label and the legal text visually explicit.
