Podcast Player Screen
Design the main podcast player on mobile for a single episode. The screen centers on episode artwork, with the current show and episode info anchored around it.
Playback progress needs to be easy to scan while the episode is playing. Show elapsed time, remaining time, and a scrubber that feels usable on a small touch screen.
The play/pause control is the main action, but the rest of the transport controls still need to sit close enough to reach without crowding the layout. Think one-thumb use.
This screen should feel like a listening state, not a library page. Keep the focus on the current episode and make it obvious where the user is in the audio.
What to deliver
- Design the episode artwork and metadata area.
- Design the playback progress bar with elapsed and remaining time.
- Design the play/pause control and adjacent transport actions.
- Design the mobile layout for portrait viewing.
- Include a compact now-playing state that keeps the current episode clear.
Make the scrubber thumb large enough to grab without obscuring the progress line or timestamps.
